About
I'm Enya and I'm a freelance Russian and Ukrainian into English translator based in Manchester, UK. I've been working as a full-time translator for seven years, providing both agencies and direct clients with high-quality translations.
My primary specialisation is life sciences and medicine, and my day-to-day work includes discharge summaries, journal articles, and clinical trial materials, but I've also worked on interesting projects including short stories, educational materials, speeches, articles, and brochures. My clients include leading translation agencies, small businesses, individuals, and publishing houses based in a variety of countries including Russia, Ukraine, the UK, and the US.

As is good practice, and to ensure the highest of quality, I work into English only.

Off the clock
I really like to build a strong relationship with my clients so here's a little bit more about me. I'm a big reader, and if I'm not working, there's probably a book in my hand. My favourites are fantasy, sci-fi, and horror. I have a penchant for horror movies too, the cheesier the better. I love going to visit my parents and taking walks in the woods. And like any true translator, I have a cat, Eugene. He's the perfect office companion: never too noisy and always reminds me when it's time for lunch.
